about

Uncle Paul are a four piece, alternative rock band from Northwest England. Formed in early 2011, their influences are diverse ranging from Mudhoney, Boris, John Zorn to The Butthole Surfers and The Birthday Party.

Very much a live band, the band pride themselves on gigging as much as possible and have become unknown for their energetic, off kilter and engaging performances.

The band recently released their debut E.P “W@nk The Cat, Feed The Dog”. Since the release songs have been played on various radio stations and podcats throughout the world. Most recently, they were played on BBC Radio’s “On The Wire” ,featured on London based show “The Spinning Man Radio” hosted by “The Shend”, who was a friend of the late John Peel and appeared on his infamous radio show numerous times. Most recently, the bands track “ A Song About Ducks” was number 1 on the world renowned entertainment and media website “newgrounds.com”, on their General Rock Chart.
